LEA Alumni Lunch Huge Hit! Cohort Application Live!

The first Leadership Exchange Academy Alumni Lunch was held last week and was an enormous success!

The event was held at Will Rogers Theatre this past Thursday, celebrating LEA's 10-year anniversary. More than 100 people, mostly state and business leaders alumi, enjoyed a tasty meal while discussing important issues that impact economic and business development in Oklahoma.

The State Chamber Research Foundation (SCRF) is now in charge of LEA and hosted the event. Long-time Devon president, Larry Nichols, who was instrumental in creating LEA, was given the Integrity in Public Policy Award for all his efforts with the organization.

State Chamber Board member, Allen Wright, president of the Hustings Group, moderated a panel discussion with Nichols and Dan Boren, secretary of commerce for the Chickasaw Nation. The three spoke about career memories, Oklahoma's future, and the importance of staying engaged in public policy.

And there's more to come from LEA!

If you're interested in the public policy process and have a strong desire to build relationships with peers, Oklahoma leaders, and public policy experts, then we have the professional development program for you!

Join SCRF's LEA Cohort Program to learn about good governance practices and free enterprise. The cohort will be held this summer, and you can apply now!
